Nearly every piece of jewellery I makes starts somewhere in the outdoors... it might be a flower that catches my eye on a walk, the way the morning light hits a leaf, or the colours of a season changing. It's that process of turning a sliver from my imagination into wearable art. When you commission a custom order with Arias, that same process begins again, only with a twist - instead of my imagination, it's all about you.

I've made custom jewellery for brides who want to honour a special person that couldn't be there on the wedding day, for people sending gifts to their best friend on the other side of the planet, and for women who had an idea living in their head and just needed someone to bring it to life. Being able to make things for people like this is one of my favourite parts of running a handmade jewellery business.

If you've got a rough idea, a specific flower you love, a colour you keep coming back to again and again despite whatever's trending... that's more than enough to get started.

How the Custom Order Process Works

Getting started is easier than you might think. All you have to do is get in touch by filling out the Custom Order Request Form with as much or as little detail as you have, and I'll take it from there. You don't need to know every single detail before you reach out - guiding you through the design process and helping you create the perfect piece is exactly what I'm here for.

A note on timeline: custom orders take time to be done properly (that's kind of the point!)

Every earring, necklace, cufflink or jewellery set that you commission is made entirely by hand, in my Auckland studio. This isn't fast fashion, this is small batch handmade jewellery.

Depending on the requirements of your design, and materials that need to be sourced, your custom order can take 2 weeks to be completed. I'll always keep you updated throughout the process, and if you have a time limit - just let me know!

There's something that happens when you put on a piece that was made for you, by hand, by someone who genuinely cared. It's different from buying something off a rack. It means something.

Every Arias Design Co piece — including every custom order — is made in small batches in my Auckland studio using polymer clay. No production lines, no outsourcing. Just me, my tools, and a lot of attention to detail.

And 20% of every sale, including custom orders, goes directly to the Mental Health Foundation of New Zealand. When you commission something from me, you're not just getting something beautiful — you're part of something bigger.
